What is your check-in and check-out times?

Check in is from 2.00pm and check out is at 10.00am.  (Alternative arrangements outside these times can be arranged).  

How far are you from the city centre?

We are only a short stroll from the city centre.  

What is the minimum length of stay?

Christchurch Accommodation has options for single night stays as well as longer stays. Simply contact us and we will happily provide you with a quote for the number of nights you require and the accommodation matches best suited to your enquiry.

How far in advance can I book an apartment?

Within 365 days.  Demand for our accommodation can be high and we recommend you book early to avoid disappointment.

I have submitted my booking form and credit card - what happens now?

Our reservations team promptly process all accommodation requests (normally within 24 hours) and your reservation confirmation will then be sent to you via email. If your choice of Apartment is not available for the dates you require we will advise accordingly and recommend alternatives.

When is full payment required?

Payment is required on arrival.

What currency are prices quoted in?

All prices quoted are New Zealand Dollars (NZD).

What happens if I decide I want to leave sooner than originally planned when I first made my booking?

Please contact us in the first instance and we will advise. Generally speaking unless we can obtain a new booking to accommodate that apartment, there will be no refund on the full cost of accommodation.

What is provided in self catering apartments?

A fully self-contained/catering apartment means all our apartments offer most of the conveniences you enjoy in your own home. Full kitchen and cooking facilities (including dishwasher and fridge/freezer), separate bathroom, a laundry that includes a washing machine and in most dryer, and a living/dining area. Each apartment has an initial “starter” kit of basic supplies required on arrival. Your full apartment compendium shows you where the nearest convenience and grocery stores are for larger supplies.

How often will the apartment be serviced?

All accommodation is professionally clean and ready for your arrival. Accommodation is serviced weekly unless otherwise stated with additional servicing being available on request. All apartments have their own laundry facilities with additional linen supplies.

How many guests can stay in each apartment?

This depends on size of Apartment booked.  We can advise at the time of enquiry on the accommodation match most suitable for your needs.

Do you have non-smoking rooms available?

All our accommodation is non-smoking. Therefore if you would like to smoke you will need to go outside, or leave the non-smoking complex area.

Do you have Internet access?

We have a range of apartments that offer Highspeed Internet connections so if this feature is important for you please let us know on your initial enquiry form.

What about property or chattel damage?

Any damage to the property or chattels caused by guests/tenants will be charged to the guest/tenant who made the booking. Should you find anything damaged prior to your stay, please advise us immediately. Failure to do so will deem you to be totally responsible for the condition of the property on departure.

How far are Christchurch Accommodation Apartments located from Christchurch Airport?

All accommodation is located within 20 kms of the airport.

Are airport transfers available?

Courtesy transportation is not available. A wide range of transport modes operate from the airport into the city  Airport Bus, Uber, Taxi or a shuttle.

Do you have an on-site restaurant? 

No, however there are many good restaurants within easy walking distance & the Trenches Bar & Restaurant just next door..

How long before I will receive an email reply?

We endeavour to check our emails regularly during business hours. If you have not received a reply from us within 24 hours then you may have provided us with an incorrect email address, therefore we suggest you re-submit your booking or email to us.

How do I confirm my stay? 

No reservation will be accepted or guaranteed unless a valid credit card number, cardholders name and card expiry date are supplied at the time the reservation is made.

 

What is your cancellation policy? 

Unless advised otherwise, for short term we require 48 hours of cancellation that applies to the full term of your reservation. If you have to cancel at short notice, or when guests fail to arrive, every endeavour will be made to re-let your booking, however if we are unsuccessful then you will be responsible for the balance owing.  For longer term this will be subject to the type of agreement you are on.

How do I find out if you have a vacancy for the dates I require? 

You will need to contact our reservation team via our Contact Us page. We will contact you within 24 hours to advise of availability.  

How can I change or cancel my booking? 

If you need to amend or cancel your existing booking, please contact us as soon as possible. Simply go to the contact us page, which provides many options for contacting us.

Is all your accommodation suitable for children?

Yes – However a few properties have mezzanine floors that may not be suitable for very young children.  Please notify reservations when making your booking and we will ensure you are placed in a suitable apartment.
